Pong manual scans; retro gaming nostalgia at its best
One of the best things about community linking site digg.com is the variety of the
links that are on the main page at any given time. The latest thing to catch my retro gaming eye was this link to a
flickr stream of the original Pong home entertainment system manual, straight out of 1976.
The manual is refreshingly simple; it's nice to know that the only thing owners of the Pong home entertainment system
had to worry about when they wanted to game was "where's the on switch?". Although at least nowadays we don't have to
worry about tuning our High-def TVs into the correct frequency to play our game consoles. What's that I hear? You're
still using RF cables?! But that's a $2000 TV!
