The games are nearly over for the launch of the Xbox 360. This
Thursday, November 10th, "at unspecified times throughout the day between 12:01 AM PST and 11:59 PM PST," a number of
gaming web sites will offer sign-up forms for eventually 3,000 chosen registrants to check out the 360 launch event in
the Mojave Desert in SoCal.
Lucky gamers will be treated with tickets for two to join winners from the U.S. "Hex 168" and European "Origen" Xbox
360 contests in that little piece of paradise from November 20-22. (Hopefully, plane tickets are included.)
So if you want to buy a 360 from Best Buy, finally check out 32-player PDZ, or try your hands on a playable
version of Gears of War a little earlier than most, you'd best be refreshing those web sites and clicking away
