One of the most intriguing tidbits that came out of Jim Merrick's
Eurogamer interview is that the Nintendo
Revolution won't necessarily launch in Japan first. Merrick hinted that the launch might "not follow the stereotypical
formula of Japan first, then the US, then Europe some time later… Anything's possible." It's doubtful that Nintendo has
the resources for a simultaneous worldwide launch—even Microsoft doesn't seem capable of handling that smoothly—but
perhaps the Big N has a few last tricks up its sleeve after all…
