Reggie Fils-Aime has been an awfully busy guy lately, spearheading
the Nintendo Gamers Summit, and working a different business-oriented audience at the Media & Entertainment
Conference just this week. For instance, he described some game journalists as being "rabid" about the Mario
Kart experience in Seattle, even playing through a free dinner. (Honestly, we probably would've, too.)
While the substance of his speech mirrored his disruptive comments at the event for the dedicated
gaming press (down to the Barnes & Noble and "blue ocean" references), he tailored it a bit more for people who may
know more about popular movies than games. For Reggie's Iwata-style streaming slide show
(in substance as well as approach), log in below and find the November 8th media section of the Webcast linked.
Speeches from other Interactive Entertainment heavyweights—such as EA, Ubisoft, MS, Take-Two, Activision, and Sony—can
be found there as well.
For more on Nintendo's market disruptions in the hardware incarnations of the DS and Revolution, check off the darker
off-screen videos of the earlier press event
here. We've uploaded an archive of the
presentation slides here.
