THQ has just cashed in on a multi-year deal for the rights to
produce Conan the Barbarian games for just about every platform imaginable. Conan has made a few appearances in
the past, but nothing you could characterize as a full-fledged video game franchise.
Rumors have been circulating that the Rock will assume the role of the muscle-bound Sumerian on the big screen (since Arnie's got a new job), giving THQ the perfect opportunity to jumpstart the new deal with Paradox Entertainment. Either way, a next-gen, free-roaming Conan title could be pretty badass.
