I'm sure this whole ticket thing is also going to happen at Best Buy and Toy R Us right? Since they dont take pre-orders, I'm sure that they will be giving these tickets out to the people in line on Monday (very early monday) the 21st in Best Buy as well. ... *starts setting up tent*

Am I wrong or does Walmart have the pricing mixed up. According to the first image ( http://raider82.textamerica.com/?r=3648534 ) It says the white unit is $299.00 and the green unit is $399.00. I could have sworn the core package was green and the HDD version was white. Perhaps I've lost it.

Mine is being sent to me in the mail. I'll just sit back, watch some tv and wait for it to arrive.

Has anyone heard what Toys R Us are doing? The same midnight stuff as Wal-Mart? I've got a crap-load of TRU gift certificates, so I kinda need to get my 360 there.

The manager at my best buy told me people should start lining up at midnight for when they open at 9am. Midnight!?!

I can't speak for all Best Buy stores, but I know mine is opening at 8 AM, and it's first-come, first-served. No tickets. No midnight madness. Form a line outside, and when I get there in the morning, I'll grab my own 360, sit and play it for a while inside, and then open the doors and sell the rest in the order of the line-up.

Other Best Buys are known to be doing tickets deals, or midnight deals, or all sorts of weirdness. We're not. Most aren't. It's just another day of new release in retail for us... Just a bit busier for the first 6 hours, is all.

I would day if you want one and have to get it at Best Buy like me, you had better go the night before and plan on being up all night in line.

God, how could they mix up the box colors? They made the damn things! Being told "yes we have 2 premium and 50 cores" on launch day will go over quite well with the crowd.

I know that my local FutureShop will be doing the midnight opening and the Xbox Reps will be in the parking lot from 9pm-12am to keep people entertained. Although its the only FutureShop doing it in the city.

reminds me of the PSP launch. Best Buy gave tickets to people waiting for HOURS outside. When they went in, there were PILES of PSPs available for sale in the store HA HA HA HA

I haven't been able to find out any particulars on the Best Buy near my house. But I will wait in line because my pre-order at EB got pushed back to the second shipment because they didn't get as many as they were supposed to.

TRU started a presell last saturday the 5th for bundles only. One was the 400 system, kameo, madden, and a wired controller. The other was the same but you got 6 games total. My store only got to presell 4 and according to the paperwork, that's all we're getting.

to answer #8, TRU starting selling their bundles last weekend and to my knowledge all of them are already sold out. To be honest packages werent that good, basically they offered a $600 and $700 package both are premium and come with an extra WIRED controller??

In other news best buys launch plans were leaked today, each store is getting 60 units, there are 10 stores doing official midnight launches and they will be given an extra 100 units.

Sure sounds like it's going to suck if you work at any of these places during that week.

It's gonna be like, a mini-black friday before the real thing.

I work at Best Buy and just saw the allocations per store today we're only getting average of 60 per store and 43000 store wide for launch....There will be a shortage the store I'm at is getting 78 60 premium and 18 core....They won't even sell to employees at my location...glad I bought an ebgames.com bundle...

I work at Wal-mart and there is not going to be any hidden tickets. I bet if you go to your local walmart and ask nicely they might even let you see there package of tickets. Though they wont give you one( I already tried) We just have them setting there underneath the counter.

If its gonna be first come first serve for preorders at Future Shop and you are #2 in the book, and there are 100 people with preorders ahead of you all wearing the same dorky white touques what the hell is the point in being signed up early for anyway? you might as well wait until spring when the things are falling off the shelves.
