Hard to believe that in the past twenty years, we've seen 12 major console launches. With the Xbox
360's release just around the corner that number will jump to 13. How does Microsoft's launch of the 360 stack up
against the launch of prior consoles?
To try and answer that question, 1up has an excellent review of the past major console launches along
with their pros and cons. They declare Sega's Dreamcast "the [launch] to beat" and believe the 360 will do
very well "as long as nothing else slips."
