"$29.99 deals include SSX On Tour and Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects."

So since the discount is $29.95, that makes the games $10.00, no?

They are still bad guys. Don't buy them, even on sale. I suppose buying them used off of eBay is acceptable, but thats it! =P

SSX and Burnout are the only decent titles here. They should make From Russia With Love a discount title since that pretty much sucked.

The only cut I would appreciate by EA, would be to their throat.

The only game worth buying there is Burnout Revenge. If it was $30 then I would go out and buy it tomorrow with my paycheck.

Games will be that price for all next gens, so we'll just have to make sure we want it before we buy it.

I like to pay 19.99 and I figure at that price I am getting value. If I was to rent every game before buying then I would most likely buy far fewer games.
Even the wireless controller for the 360 is expensive and the little network adapter that is required for true wire less is 100 dollars in Canada ! At these prices I can't justify the purchase of the system even though of course I do want one. I did some math and to buy the premium package with a recharge pack a network adapter and 2 extra controllers I am looking at 900 CAD dollars and thats before I have even purchased one game at the 75 dollar price tag here in British Columbia. Its seems unfair. Priced out of one of the few hobbies I enjoy.

I guess what I am saying is for once it would have been nice to be in at the very beginning instead of waiting for the inevitable price cuts. I am sure it will be selling for 300 CAD in about 300 years :(
Maybe I will still be alive then ! Who knows.

I got 8 PSP games, and 1 is from EA, I regret buying it, they game don't worth 39.99$, so I can't even imagine getting them at 49.99$, they are a big rip-off company that release crap to make money.

I love how Madden 2006 isn't on this list. Nothing like milking that monopoly while they can. EA will be the deat of modern videogaming. Mark my words.

simple supply/demand...and they're skimming the 360 consumers for now...but when that demand goes up that'll drop down soon too...

Daver,
according to bestbuy.ca xbox 360 games in canada will be priced at 60 dollars(1st party) and 70 dollars( 3rd party)

To me these prices do not seem unfair as microsoft will have a monopoly in the home consol market for the next year, and if they really wanted to they could charge twice the amount and still have customers.

Embassy- "but when that demand goes up that'll drop down soon too"

Oops, you got it backwards. When demand goes up, there is less supply. When there's less supply the price goes up. It's when there is less demand that the price goes down. So extrapolating on this, EA's slashing the prices on these titles because they aren't selling and they want to move their surplus.
