Recently released data from research consultancy XTN Data shows that
file sharing over the internet continues to grow and that most users are unconcerned by potential legal action. Even
more telling, is that for the first time ever illegal download of movies and TV content overtook demand for music
downloads with PC and console games gaining ground. Multimedia obviously makes up a greater percentage of bandwidth,
but the number of available gaming files is increasing.
Do you think we'll see an increase in illegal console downloads, or will proprietary formats keep the piracy at
bay?
