Remember those shysters on Fifth Avenue that we blogged about a couple months back? They were listing PSP games for as much as $299.95 and GBA games for $119.95, among other egregious pricing sins. They have been brought to justice.
We dropped a tip to the BBB of NYC about the issue, and the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs just called to let us know that the store was issued a violation "for false MSRP listing." The hearing is set for November 22nd, 2005. The ultimate punishment will probably just be a little slap on the hand and an extracted promise not to do it anymore, but it's all about the little wins.
So: scour your cities with a digital camera in hand and send a tip to the authorities. You never know when the bureacrats might come through for the little guy.
