Activision has secured the "exclusive worldwide publishing rights for all current and future console platforms, the PC and handhelds" based on Dreamworks' popular animated properties like Shrek, Madagascar, and the upcoming Over the Hedge. The Chairman and CEO of Activision proudly states:
"Our association with DreamWorks has resulted in some of the most critically acclaimed and successful movie-based video games ever. This announcement enables us to continue to build on our strong creative collaboration and underscores Activision's ongoing commitment to developing exceptional games based on the highest quality intellectual properties and brands."
Looking at the latest review scores for some of their more recent titles like Shrek 2 and Madagascar, the veracity of that statement is questionable.
