After some misleading information showed up on their website, and was confirmed twice by Joystiq, Circuit City changed course and clarified they would not be selling actual 360s today, but would instead be taking preorders. That is, until Circuit City's servers came crashing down today a little after 2 this afternoon. Potential buyers were met with server outages, a clogged phone system, yet some persisted in placing their orders. All around a poor showing for one of the largest consumer electronics dealers in the country. They must have underestimated how badly we all want 360s!Circuit City adds insult to injury
