PSPHacks wants you...to code a standalone flash player. And they're willing to award $500 to whomever does it first. They've got a list of requirements that the app needs to satisfy (the most important being, obviously, the ability to play .swf files) before it can be considered for judging. The competition is open to both individual and group entires and will end on December 31, 2005. The best news from the contest? The winning program will be released into the wild completely open source.Like any game, there are a few rules that need to be satisfied for your entry to be considered:
- It must play full-screen .swf media
- It must include some form of keyboard emulation
- It needs to support Actionscript
- Optionally, it should include a kiosk mode
