Are you the loved one of a gamer?
Probably not since you're here reading this post! How do we explain to our non-gaming significant others about new
hardware? The shininess!? Geezer Gamers has an amusing post covering this very topic.
As the Joystiq crew assembles for 48-hours of nonstop 360
gaming, I think of my own gaming widow, who is being left at home for the weekend so that I can not sleep,
shower, eat properly or brush my teeth regularly. We will however be playing new games, old games on new
hardware, testing things, comparing things, all in the name of gamers. So here's to you gaming widows. We'll be
home… next week.

My gaming widower is lining up the DVDs ready for launch week. I haven't told him yet that I'll be needing the TV...
