Yesterday, Capcom gave the PSP a much-needed retro shot in the arm when they announced their plans to release Capcom Classics Remix for the portable device. We personally hate the idea of having to lug around a stack of UMDs just to get our gaming on, so getting over 20 titles on one disc is a neat treat. The month-old title's already seen action on the PS2 and Xbox, but a near overhaul of classic titles (which now includes old-school favorites like Captain Commando and Strider) means an entirely fresh experience for gamers looking to spend some gaming time with old friends from the arcade. The difference this time being there's no need to deal with a pocketful of greasy quarters.
Here's a quick list of some of the games we'll be seeing on the disc:
1941
Avengers
Block Block
Captain Commando
Magic Sword
Quiz and Dragons (major credit muncher)
Street Fighter
Strider
Three Wonders
Varth
Wireless multiplayer play, score swapping, and the option to select different screen sizes are also included.
There's already a decent roster of titles on this compilation, but if you had it your way, what would your classic game compilation look like?
