It's not all
bad! John Dvorak, of PC Magazine and This
Week in Tech fame, has some nice words for the 360 in a column entitled "Xbox 360 to the Rescue". He calls attention to
the skill with which Microsoft developed a game system with many more feautres (feature creep) but has avoided the
pitfalls that, admittedly, plague many Microsoft products like Windows Media Center and Word. He writes, "I have
not seen a hardware/software system this well thought out for a decade or more." He continues with praise for the games
industry, "The sooner we realize that creativity is centered in the game business, the better off the entire [computer]
industry will be." Dvorak is usually a curmudgeonly old contrarian, but it looks like he got it right this time.
