We've finally begun to fiddle with
Kameo—that is, after tearing ourselves away from
setting the latest high score on a certain Live Arcade game you might've heard us raving
about.
As you can see, Kameo's been waiting a long time for us to get over our illusions of gameplay-over-graphics grandeur,
so we shant keep the "blossoming" Princess of Power any longer.
For the past hour, we've been experimenting with the game. First, we started the game in Co-Operative mode and played
that until we realized we weren't getting any of the storyline. We then started over in single-player to experience the
game as its makers intended it. Impressions so far? The camera system frustrated us in co-op mode, but has worked well
so far in single-player mode. The textures, voice-overs, physical action, and so on are impressive, but the three of us
are divided on the character designs.
We'll finish the game tonight and post a full review, including, hopefully, some resolution on whether the character
design of Kameo ultimately succeeds or fails.
