Even though the 48-hour gamathon is winding down, that doesn't mean we've given up! Our love affair with Geometry Wars continues even as our rank gets lowered by incoming players. We don't know what will happen this Tueday but for right now the image above speaks for itself: Joystiq has p0wned Gamespot! True, bapenguin from Evil Avatar has managed to best us both... but not for long! En garde!

Its not like you guys didnt already own gamespot in the info department. I use to go to gamespot all the time for updates, but i get the info from joystiq hours earlier than the guys over at the spot.

Wait wait wait, PGR3 thoughts will be coming. Theres a lot going on here! As far as PDZ goes, its not reviewed anywhere yet because no one really has it! There have been some rumors of retail presence but we have not confirmed it. Either way we didn't get a copy (but we did get THREE Kameos.)

I'm not sure what time the lock in started, but PDZ was at my local Gamestop on Friday.

That's weird. I bought a copy at Best Buy this afternoon - not a preorder, I just walked in and got it. Of course I have nothing to play it on until Tuesday... :(

journalists and gaming sites & magazines in norway have got pdz already... they got them 3 days ago or something..

guys, maybe the live arcade is really THAT GOOD For them to spend this much time on it.

Geometry wars is really THAT good, my buddy got 176k on the demo before the time ran out, so I purchased it. Haven't been able to get past 130k yet.

I have Perfect Dark Zero. I can give you a great review. Came in a nice green case with plastic on the outside. Nice insert. Im sorry I cant give you more, but I dont get my 360 until tomorrow at 12 midnight. I can confirm its in the stores or at least my local gamestop store.

Ya know I had 500,000 right? Why it didn't save me to the leaderboards is beyond me...my 300,000 some odd score did though. :)

Interesting how my argument against this article magically disappeared when it slammed Joystiq. Is this typical behavior from the owners?

To repeat:

Give me a break. Gamespot is a professional site, not a rumor-starting piece of crap like Kotaku blog site such as Joystiq.

Don't you hate it when people start out a headline 'Nintendo is bought by Microsoft!' then you get to the site and it says 'rumor has it MS has enough money to sway the heads at Nintendo, we'll keep you updated as soon as we learn anything!'

This site does that all the time. This article is another example.

To get 500k...you gotta be lucky...I swear I didn't even know I was up there and all of the sudden I glanced at the score and it was like 450. That was my downfall. You gotta just keep moving, force the guys to bunch up and takem down in groups.

I have 2 360s on prebuy .My daughter was trying out 1 of 2 demos in Future Shop Kamloops BC Canada yesterday and the other one crashed. The lite went on for me and I realized being a new system it could prove to be [a-a-a-r-r-gh! buggy] So I think I am going to spring for 2 extended warranties-something you may want to consider when you purchase.

This one's no big surprise. Gamespot's writers seem to suck at games... have any of you watched their video reviews? It looks like a 6 year old is playing in half of that footage.

Oh well, at least their reviews are right on most of the time.
