As the editor of Joystiq, I'm happy to welcome you to Xbox 360 Fanboy, a new blog created for all the fanboys and fangirls in the house who don't shy away from admitting that they're perhaps more than a little bit partial to the Xbox 360.
If you are what you eat, you are also what you play. Console choice defines a gamer, and therefore the "Microsoft vs. Nintendo vs. Sony" debate requires a personal choice that is at least as important as the old "Coke vs Pepsi," "Mac vs PC," "Ford vs Chevy," and "Burger King vs. McDonald's" choices we've all had to make in the past.
But we're also hoping to reclaim the "fanboy" title from those who have turned it into a dirty word. Fanboys don't type in all caps, (or all crap, for that matter), they aren't irrational flamers; console fanboys are simply deeply informed and passionate about their console of choice. Fanboys--as we define them--know their stuff cold. And hey, if by dint of acquiring that deep knowledge they happen to also be a bit biased, so be it.
This blog is for you, fanboys and fangirls. Let us know what you want to see on it!
