Play J Allard tomorrow on Xbox live
Sure, he is the Vice President of the Microsoft Xbox division,
Chief XNA Architect, and uncanny Michael Stipe look-alike, but can he game? If you chose Project Gotham Racing
3 or Perfect Dark Zero as one of your launch titles, you might get a chance to play against J Allard
himself as he logs onto Xbox Live tomorrow, November 22, for only 2 hours.
The window of opportunity is slim (between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 P.M.), but if you have your Xbox 360 set
up and an Xbox Live Gold account, simply challenge the gamertag HiroProtagonist. Xbox.com is promising
prizes to everyone who beats him (maybe that is why the event is only 2 hours long).

wow, so is he also the world's greatest sword fighter and pizza delivery boy?
PCB @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
Ha, Snow Crash! Of course he would have read that one.
Maybe he should start working for Pizza Hut so he can help the pizza places take over the world.

xbox.com says server unavailable? their site is down, I wonder if they're updating it for tonight er somthing.
SID SPACE @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
I wonder if he's any good. IMO he seems like the type who would work for and promote a company whose product he's never even touched. In short, a white-collar pussy.
Scythe @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
ok how do you even know it's him your playing?
It could be some kid or game designer that made the game or ah who care not like I'll be wasting my time on that.
Goober @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
I was just going to say, wow, what an unoriginal gamer tag. And you guys trust this guy to make your console?
saviorofhyrule @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
Heh, I'm pretty sure most major game developers don't actually play their games... but to avoid giving out of too many prizes, he may be infected by Teh Haxx0r!
Yep. I'm sure he can pretty much do anything he wants to the game he virtually owns.
pheen @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
Goober, go back to your Nintendo Wiki, fanboy. If Miyamoto used that name you'd probably run out and buy a new copy of Snow Crash.
Babu @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
what if goober is a sony phanboi? you assume he is a nintendo phanboi?
Andrew Hsieh @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
Goober DOES have a Nintendo blog as his site...
GamerZero @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
J Allard, why are you wasting your time playing on a pumped up calculator that wishes it was a PS2?Two whole hours of tedium on a miserable toaster that consumes your time like crack cocaine and gives you indigestion cuz u can't stomach American drivel. My PS2 has got Emotion Grafix, and if programers knew how to program it properly,we'd be playing Toy Story in realtime already. My mates, sisters, uncle works on PS3 development and he says don't bother with a 360 cuz it can't animate 5000,000 polygons and play 4 HD movies at the same time,I mean that is so lame!Im waiting for PS3 and you should to,313 days,13 hours and 13 seconds to go ahh MAN I need to change my pants!
Carson @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
How very strange, thats the book I'm re-reading while camping fot the 360 tonight.
GWing_02 @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
I can't even tell if that's hysterical fanboyism or bad sarcasm.
Rare Hare @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
you guys are fucking stupid..
GamerZero jsut made a display of some of the most obvious and at the same time humorous sarcasm i've witnessed on this site.
if you assholes would grow up and not be so damn quick to defend your precious Microsoft maybe you'd get the joke too.
Ross Miller @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
Hey, let's stick to the topic (J allard) and not to each other, or each other's history. Else I'm going to have some fun blocking posts.
Jason @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
GamerZero, that post 13 was friggin hilarious. Emotion Engine, what a laugh. Great parody of Sony fanboys...
dik @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
TO J-MANY MANY THANKS,GUYS,AND BEST OF LUCK TO ALL!!!!!
GamerZero @ Dec 18th 2005 10:09PM
Atleast J Allard plays games.Ken probably can't even program his Sony video recorder let alone play with a joypad but Ill buy his washing machine if it does 20,000 revolutions per sec.
