We've covered Microsoft's brand-driven "Jump In" commercials before, even the Japanese ones, but there was one ad they created that was never aired.
Monday's Seattle Post-Intelligencer reveals details of the "Stand Off" ad. Similar to the group play emphasized in earlier ads like jump roping and a water balloon fight, this ad features commuters on a subway platform "shooting" with their fingers, yelling "bang!", and pretending to be shot. While it might seem innocuous, Microsoft decided to deliver the ad instead to a group that seemed more likely to appreciate it: gamers.
It was reported to have had its debut at the not-so-secret Zero Hour event tonight. We'll keep our eyes open for a copy if it makes it to the internets. Any readers who were there able to report on this ad, or provide any cameraphone videos?
