In my opinion, MKDS is one of the top ten video games of all time. It's a bit of a revolution, so to speak, that such a top-notch title was designed for a portable system.

I think this game is a landmark title for Nintendo and is just what they needed in the void between the death of the cube and the under hype of the revolution. It is obviously the best version of one of the best games series of all time. What's not to like? :)

Help. Me.

I can't. Put this game down. I find myself playing it between classes and during classes (hide it behind the back of the preson in front of me, duh).

I must. destroy. for the sake. of my academic future.

#50, you have it backwards. Xbox Live Silver ONLY allows you to make profiles and download patches. You have to have Gold to play most games...

From howstuffworks.com:

"Xbox Live Silver is a free service that ships with all Xbox 360s and allows any Xbox 360 user with a broadband connection to get online and create a gamer tag as well as a new ID type called a gamer card. The gamer card is a profile that displays a gamer's interests, skill level, competitiveness and gaming accomplishments. In addition, gamers can use Xbox Live Silver to chat, download content and play certain games. Xbox Live Silver allows gamers to access most of the features of Xbox Live. The one key feature missing from the free service is the ability to play multiplayer games online.

In order to play in multiplayer matches online, you must upgrade to the subscription service known as Xbox Live Gold. The Gold service has all the functionality of Silver plus the ability to play multiplayer games. Additionally, Xbox Live Gold has exclusive content, tournaments and Xbox Live events. "

I have a ds and I need to start getting some of these great games! But I have to defend Microsoft's online strategy here. It is a lot harder to support the online play with a console as powerful as the xbox (compared to the ds), and it is not like they are supporting one game here. Many, many games are live enabled, which means Microsoft has to manage and keep online an order of magnitude more titles than Nintendo will ever have to. The fee is reasonable for what you get.

I think Xbox would do better if they added more to their free teir, and only exceptional stuff to the paid tier. Even a drug dealer knows how to market better.
