Good news for World of Warcraft players—a new patch is in the offing, and it's available to play already on the test realms. Both American and European players can log on to their respective test servers and try out patch 1.9 from the point of view of a level 60 character. Although the testing stage exists so the developers can iron out any remaining bugs in the patch, it's also fun to see what your character might look like at level 60, or try out other classes' endgame content.
The 1.9 patch introduces a couple of long-awaited features: linked auction houses in all major cities allow players of
each faction to conduct business without having to travel to Ironforge or Orgrimmar every time; similarly, the major
cities now share Looking for Group and Trade channels. Bad news for gryphon or wind rider businesses! Two new raid
dungeons—the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj—are also on their way, as well as a new raid reset calendar. Finally, paladins are the
latest class to undergo across-the-board changes, receiving a full talent point refund.
