Running with Scissors revels in their notoriety - the Postal franchise has won more than its fair share of
"most controversial game" awards. In fact, such a notoriety
makes it hard to publish a game in many countries (Australia, New Zealand, even the United States). How does a company
bypass such stringent censorship? By using online distribution, of course.
While not exactly the same quality as Steam, Running with Scissors is offering their games as downloadable software
via SoftWrap technology. The company's CEO, Vince Desi, had this to say:
We're just glad that at last responsible kids and irresponsible adults the world over can now get their paws on the most blacklisted and banned game of all time!
Words that would make 50 cent proud. You can now
purchase Postal, Postal 2: Share the
Pain, and Postal 2: Apocalypse Weekend online for the meager price of $19.95 each ($10 for the classic
Postal game).
