Just a little FYI update for you guys. Some of you might have heard of the group of people out there that are playing around with the 360 for something other than just games. It's pretty interesting too, because the project, named Free60, is aiming to port such operating systems like Linux and Darwin to the Xbox 360. The wiki has been open for other like-minded individuals to edit and provides some pretty good information. From the site: "Also inside the CPU is a hypervisor that verifies the running state of
the kernel, making sure there is no modification (RAM checksums), else
the Xbox360 panics and blows up!"

bullshit about the xbox blowing up , if thats the case every time the machine gets an error it would blow up too :P

I don't believe blowing up is meant to be literal :P The worst case scenario is that it locks the box up and requires service to be unlocked... imagine that call to Microsoft ;) More likely is that it simply reboots the box.
