If you've ever wanted to talk about Commodore 64s in four languages at once,
Talkman for PSP might not be the software you're
looking for. However, if you're in need of multi-lingual everyday conversation, you're in luck. Helping bridge the
language barrier between English, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Korean, Talkman is translation software—it's
a stretch to call it a game, although it includes mini-games—allowing you to fire that interpreter and ditch the
phrasebooks.
Lik-Sang have conducted a thorough look into the software, which is only available in the Japanese version for now. US
and European versions would be thoroughly welcomed; if Lik-Sang's hands-on experiences are anything to go by, it's a
thoroughly useful piece of software and adds an extra dimension of usefulness to your PSP. Although it does translate
"My little brother took my first-edition white Saturn for a dive when showering, can you advise on where I could get
replacement parts?" as "Where can I find a florist?", so keep that dictionary handy.
