Next Generation reports that the United States Air Force has
commissioned a custom game development software toolkit, WarCon, for its military instructors. By making game creation
possible from the point of view of non-programmers, rapid prototyping and a large variety of game scenarios will be
possible.
It seems the Forces are realising that video games are a useful tool in both their
education and outreach programmes; perhaps other countries will follow
suit.
