Looks like SCi and Paramount films want another shot at making a
game-to-film masterpiece (or just another outlet for merchandise). Currently, both companies are in talks to bring back
Lara Croft for a third Tomb Raider film.
Both Tomb Raider and its sequel Cradle of Life have received abysmal
critical
reviews, but they still pulled in a total of $431
million worldwide ticket sales. According to the article at The Business Online, Angelina Jolie has expressed
interest in returning. Could third time be a charm, or will it go unnoticed amongst the dozens other game-to-film
adaptations set to release over the next few years?
