Taiwanese IC design house Silicon Integrated Systems (SiS) has issued a press release detailing some of the features of the chipset they designed for the Xbox 360. If you'll remember, Microsoft hired nVidia to design the chipset for the original Xbox, resulting in nVidia's entry into the PC chipset market. No longer allied with nVidia, Microsoft has used longtime industry player SiS this time.Features of the chipset include:

- 2 Serial ATA ports providing up to 150 MB/s
- 3 external USB2 ports
- 10/100 Ethernet
