Last week, the Xbox 360 dominated the news with its North American launch. But it was Sony that dominated the launch lines.
The Sony PSP was definitely the platform of choice to help folks pass the long hours of waiting. An informal poll at one major midnight launch party uncovered 22 PSPs, 17 DSs and 6 Gameboy SPs (out of about 150 people in line.) Thankfully, the Gizmondo sat this one out entirely.
Being played? GTA and, surprisingly, Tiger Woods. Oh, and some game called Mario Kart on a "competing" system.
