24-year-old Faisal Al-Dhalmawi has started up a blog over on 1up.com that focuses on gaming in Kuwait. Since most industry reports focus on North America, Asia, and Europe, it's refreshing to read an account of gaming culture in a part of the world like Kuwait. What we discover is that gaming is not all that different no matter where our roots are grounded.
We hate to get all sentimental over a thing like this, but Faisal's blog just reiterates that fact that, despite
media sensationalism (with respect to violence in video games), gaming is a practice that transcends cultures. Gaming
