One part marketing ploy, two parts ego boost; TIME magazine lists the PSP as one of the most amazing inventions of 2005, right up with tattooed fruit and a vehicle that looks like a wheelchair hopped up on speed. Along with slathering the console with praise for its widescreen display and multifunctionality, it interestingly also notes the gadget's capacity as an e-mail capable device. Highly plausible, although the idea of tapping out an entire e-mail using the PSP's input scheme already sends our thumbs into convulsions.
If anyone's keeping count, this is the third award that's been given to the PSP this year. Yeah, that's right. Three.
