the one game that would make the psp sell like hot cakes filled with crack is, metal gear solid
the current metal gear game on the psp isn't what i was looking for when i bought it but if there was a ps1 port with up'ed grafix n such then it would sell very good and make people buy the psp only for that game ;)

Oh man, you're right. MGS1 is one of my top games of all time. I loved it, played it many times. However, somewhere along the line it got lost. I'd like to play it again.

It would just be another port, though. I would buy it at least.

I would love a good original Sonic game for the PSP. I'm happy to see that there's a Katamari game coming. How about a new Ico game? There are a lot of games out there that have previously been successful on other consoles that are ready for a new iteration on PSP.

I would love to see Resident Evil go on the playstation portable any day. Oh I can't imagine how fun it would be playing that game on the PSP screen, and not the ugly looking resident evil game thats coming out for the DS.I surely wish Sony comes up with some better games quickly.Granturismo 4 mobile is one game I'm definitly waiting for.

I think since Nippon Ichi moved Makai Wars to be a ps3 project instead of psp, they should still show a little love to the psp in the form of a remake of Disgaea with some infrastructure battling and psp specific classes. The game is hard to find in the US on ps2, tactics games are great for portable gaming and the game can last forever with how the the leveling system works.

Medal of Honor, with full support for infrastructure for playing with the hordes of others on the internet that would buy this game.

IMO, this would be the killer app.

Hell yeah! Jet Set (Grind) Radio on DC is one of my favorite games. And I’m sure the PSP can handle it easily.
Jet Set sounds more portable then Shenmue. But then again Shenmue I and II are my favorite DC games so I’d buy them anyway.

Port Tetris to the PSP, and you'll never be able to pry the PSP away from me. I'll still play Lumines in the meantime, but I can only take so much house music before my ears start to bleed.

also that diablo 2 idea is real and blizzard """apearently""" put out a poll for it and people were alowed to vote for it only IF THEY COUD FIND IT!!!! but diablo 2 would port perfectly to psp...just imagine now u can watch ur life pass by wastfully(by pking, collecting items n crap like that) which ur taking a sh!t!!!lol

Though I admit these aren't necessarily "killer" titles, some oldies but goodies would be nice: Stun Runner (from arcade) and Tempest 2000 (Jaguar)

Any of the really hot-selling Sega titles like Shenmue and Sonic.

I agree but another new game should be God of War for the PSP. Best action game on playstation 2. Kratos can pwn mario anyday.

Resident Evil, Daiblo II, Metal Gear Solid, and God of War.... the best titles that "should" be for the PSP.

How about a good game that uses either REsident Evil 4's control scheme or Metroid Prime? Both these games run great with just one analog stick, because their both from the signle analog sticked Gamecube (i'm not countring the little yellow one, it's just to un comfurtable and impossible to grip for long periods of time) Instead of looking at games on the PS2 that use 2 analog sticks, and spending all their time tring to figure out how to make it work with just one, how about looking at gamecube Control schemes and then spending the time you saved to create an original title, anengrossing story, truly fleshed out character, and some solid Gameplay instead of just another port?

PS2 Ports that I would like to see include:

God of War
Final Fantasy VII thru X
Grand Turismo 3 (in anticipation of 4)
Maximo
Balder's Gate w/ Multiplayer abilities

My ultimate dream is to one day be able to log into my World of Warcraft Character on a dedicated PSP server while I'm taking the Ferry between Seattle and Home. Now that is probably a little unrealistic so far, but I bet it will be done someday in the future.

More Diablo clones, please! Untold Legends may have been a flawed game in many aspects, but it still stayed on my PSP for about 100+ hours. Kingdom of Paradise is kinda filling my Action/RPG thirst, and Xmen was ok (too many heroes, 1 guy is enough!), but I *DESPERATELY* need a serious RPG like Champions of Norath. Something with a decent plot, voice acting, lots of character classes, great attacks you can level up, cool monsters, detailed levels, excellent combat, and a vast multitude of adventure bling to find/steal/win along the way.

I see a lot of posts for Final Fantasy, but where is the love for the one that started the addiction to console RPG's in the firs place. Would love to see the old Dragon Warrior games remade for PSP with some kick ass graphics. Also, I know that GB used to get away with using a lot of licenses that were Sony or Microsoft exclusive, because they were the only real protable in town. How about a story on how these licenses work now that the competition of PSP is out there. Will GB be cut off from some of the formerly Sony exclusive characters? (Remember, once upon a time Crash was Sony exclusive, but Sony still let GB use him for games.)

They need Square rpgs. I really wouldn't care if they just hashed versions of PS1 games on this system.

It would be really nice if they had Final Fantasy Tactics, Xenogears, and Valkrie Profile on there.

I agree with comments about Sonic needing a version, even if it's slightly old school.

I'm also hoping they get better 3d fighters, like Tekken / Soul Calibur (and with WiFi!)

I don't know if they could squeeze it on the PSP, but I would love to see Half-Life 2, Call of Duty and a good online MMORPG ala Guild Wars or something similar. Man, being able to play a good adventure-action game like HL2 and a good MMO like Guild Wars/EQ, etc....I'd never leave my house, except to find a wifi hotspot...

Numba one... Time Splitters... since there is not a second analog, not sure how cool it would be.

Second Choice... Tekken... Something similar to Tekken 5 would be nice... with all the extras... having the old games and that old namco shooter would be sweet...
