Hot on the heels of our original PSP takes a beating post, comes another PSP bashing article. This one, entitled How Nintendo Took a Bite Out of Sony, is courtesy of Business 2.0.Biz 2.0 reasons that Nintendo's increasing momentum against Sony in the portable arena can be attributed to none other than Nintendogs, which exemplifies the DS' ability to let players:
- engage in social networking
- utilize an intuitive interface (such as speech)
- create an emotional connection with the game via the touchscreen
"Fancy hardware doesn’t sell game machines; it takes great games to sell fancy hardware."Hmmm. That clever logic might apply to hardware that is essentially only a game machine, but, clearly, there is more to Sony's PSP plans than games.
