THQ has acquired the rights to develop games under the Monster House property. Monster House, due
out next summer, is a (3D) CGI movie from executive producers Robert Zemeckis & Steven Spielberg, which follows the
adventures of three children going up against—you guessed it—a monster house. THQ hopes to coincide the release of a
multi-platform game with the release of the film. Hopefully, the developers will get access to some of the CGI work
used in the movie and make use of the 3D effects. Alas, good children's games are just so rare these days…
