Famitsu is reporting (with screens, but in Japanese) that the
long-rumored Myst port for the PSP is now in development. So who says PSP games are nothing but scaled-down
PS2 ports? That's ridiculous. What about Myst? Myst isn't a PS2 game—okay, we admit, the PC adventure
classic did appear on the original PlayStation back in '96.
So are we excited about a 10 year-old classic point-n-click adventure on our PSP? Not really. Listen, we've got fond
memories of Myst—but they are memories. At least the latest Myst port is said to include the new
"Rime Age," which is some incentive to cash in. Let's just hope they don't pin a $49.99 price tag on this one.
