Clichéd action movie or not (we're sort of leaning towards the former), Doom is set to sic its one-liners on your PSP next February when it releases on UMD and DVD. After seeing the carnage for ourselves last October, we have to admit that we're not all that excited with this news. And we imagine the joke where you tell your friends you got Doom to run on your 2.6 firmware-d PSP, and then you show them it's just the lame movie, and then you laugh, and then they beat your ass to a pulp, would run pretty thin after the first few tries.
If you can't wait that long to be disappointed, Godzilla and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines will be out on UMD by the 13th and 20th of December, respectively. Maybe it's time to update those "Things I don't want for the Holidays" wish lists.
