Geometry Wars on your PC: Binary Zoo's Mono

Binary Zoo's Mono

If you haven't bought an Xbox 360 but followed our 48-hour gaming marathon, you'll know that a simple arcade game called Geometry Wars was our favorite title on the 360. And in case you were wondering, the reason we thought this wasn't because we were sleep deprived.

Geometry Wars takes its inspiration from an arcade game called Robotron 2084, a game that Joystiq's editor wasted spent his childhood playing. That same game is the inspiration for Binary Zoo's Mono. With one important difference to Geometry Wars. Mono is playable on your PC, mouse and all. Not one for the arcade purists — but it's still a bucket load of fun. So get yourself over to Binary Zoo's site and devote the rest of the week to shooting little colored blobs.
