Panoramic in game screenshots
After seeing these panoramic screenshots, it'll be hard to get excited about regular screenshots again. Panogames
have QTVR screenshots for Half-Life 2, Battlefield 2, Quake 4, Call
of Duty 2, GT Legends, and a racing game called FIA GTR. Instead of describing them,
it's best to just see them for yourself.
While it's not listed on their Half-Life 2 page, the piece de resistance is a shot of striders inserted into a street scene in Köln, Germany. It's like freezing the breakneck pace of Half-Life 2 and being able to stop and look around. Make sure to look up.

Those are awesome! I'd love to see that become the standard for videogame screenshots. It's almost like you're in the game!

I didn't think of doing this.
Anyone here use autostitch? It will automatically splice together your pictures or screenshots if there is enough overlap. You don't have to take them in any order, or even have to take take screenshots horizontally. Basically take a crapload of screenshots from one location, and splice them together.

This is an awesome way to look at games, you really get a feel for being in the game.
