revolution will fuck your faces up with its superb graphics. shigeru miyamoto commented that zelda twilight princess wouldn't have much difference of graphical power as a HD tv xbox 360 game. get ready to cry in happiness once you see the true secrets of the revolution at E3.
p.s xbox 360= loud microwave

Ugh... gamers everywhere still seem to think Nintendo is even in danger of going under. Last time I checked, Microsoft's game depertment was still running a half a billion dollar deficit and Sony's entire company, electronics and all, was only making marginally more than Nintendo, which is still turning the most profit. Microsoft and Sony both lose loads of cash with their systems, while Nintendo has only recently began losing a little money (under $10 a system) for the Gamecube. They had been making a profit but lowered their prices. The next gen systems will be no different, Sony and Microsoft are loading their systems with more media and losing possibly even more money, while Nintendo is staying a little under the bar but still quite close and they will turn a profit. Microsoft still dosnt make enough profit on software (indeed, in many years that was costing them too) to make up for the cost of system deficit, and dosnt expect to until 2007. But they have other divisions to help soften this impact. Sony makes profit, but with this many additions as far as media and such goes, and so little substance in their next-gen game lineup, they may also end up running a deficit, which they may or may not be able to afford, they arnt as big as Microsoft. Nintendo, on the other hand, could do relitivly poor in sales and still make more money then the competition. They make money on all consoles, handhelds and games so are not in any serious danger.

You have to look at it from a different point of view. First off, the PS2 is the top selling of the three consoles. So most of the gamers out there have PS2's. Secondly, the Xbox 360 sold OUT in it's opening release day, so did the PS2 a few years ago.

No one could get their hands on a PS2 or Xbox when they first came out. Do you remember the Game Cube being sooooo populat that you couldn't get one?

I'll bet the Revolution doesn't cause a riot at your local Wal-Mart

The Nintendo Controller is supposed to "revolutionize" game play for their new games, and it doesn't look a thing like the PS2, Xbox, or GCN controller.

Now when "John Q. Public" goes into a store to buy a console, the first thing he is going to say is "That's a crappy controller, I like this one a lot better."

People already make complaints about the differences between the PS2, GCN, and Xbox controllers! They're not that different! But they will be now, and the complaints will be valid.

Age old expression of life... "If it's different, then I fear it."

And as Microsoft and Sony are not making much money on their game systems, they also do a lot of other things at thier companies. Microsoft makes software, or so I've heard. And Sony does some kind of consumer electronics sales.

Nintendo makes consoles and games, that's it.
Personally, I think Nintendo is going to go the way of Sega, and start making Star Fox for the XBox 360 and PS3.

Ok, I dont know about you all, but. I own a GC and I have noticed, on more than one occation, that some of the GC games look and run better than games on PS. Prime example Resident Evil 4. it looks sharper and has much better color, and since Nintendo is sticking with ATI for its graphics solutions. I am sure it will still be a very pretty and prestine looking image. They aren't stupid. They know people want it to look shapr. it may not have the detail that some Graphics junkies require. but I am sure it will still be damn good looking. and if The Rev is only 2 or 3 times stronger than GC graphically thats still a massive improvement. and I am sure it wont have half the problems that the Xbox360 has. I can garauntee I'll get The Rev before I waste my money on an 360. Nintendo will have a much better overall value. and come out the gate with a huge lineup...simply because of the past 20 years. and if the rumor I heard holds true. and you can download games you currently own for free by simply entering the S/N numbers into the system so that you can d'load the game. I'm gonna have myself one massive collection of games to play on one system..some which I haven't touched since 1989

Personally. Nintedo gets my vote any day

Except that the new controller is far more intuitive, simple, and easy to use than its next generation counterparts. if they can make the motion sensing accurate and bug-free, it will attract buyers, not turn them off. Would you want to be the only kid on the block who doesn't know how to use the revolution controller because you're "afraid" of it?

the biggest and almost the only reason game cube didnt do well is because they didnt make it with a built in dvd player. theyre getting the picture this time tho by adding it to the revolution >.>

o yea and btw Shibblet, the people who live by the expression "If its different, then I fear it" are basically saying they're afraid of change. life is full of changes, get used to it. nintendo is trying something new and unique unlike the other systems that just play games like they always have. and just because theyre using the new controller capabilities in some games, its not going to be used in all of them. if uve actually looked at the controller, it can be used normaly just like any other systems controller. as an add-on, the revolution is backward compatable enabling u to use the gamecube controllers aswell. the revolution is truly a step in the right direction.
