We all can't wait for the Revolution's remote-swinging madness to
begin next year, but until then, we'll have to settle
for a licensed lightsaber game that hooks directly into your TV for our sword-slashing fun.
The Star Wars Saga Edition Lightsaber Battle Game comes with a training-droid ball to provide the picture to
the TV, as well as some sort of wireless functionality to detect your swings and other assorted saber movements against
SW heroes and villains (mostly from the prequels as far as we can tell).
Finding the game in-stock can be a bit of
a challenge these
days, but if PC Magazine can give a TV game four
pips out of five, this could be a game worth playing… for Star Wars/Revolution devotees at least. So long
as batteries don't rupture on these models, parents
of swingin' 8-year-olds and up should be pleased.
[Thanks, Jay]
