Its a running joke with Bungie, they keep on "claiming" that there next game will be PIMPS AT SEA....

I think thats code for Halo 3.

Pimps at Sea...Gonna look so good in HD...You can see each feather on the parrot's wing...Bling bling is all normal-mapped and shiny...gonna be sweet.

i hope its not halo 3 im so tired of the whole halo genre anyway.......halo halo halo.......there multiplayer maps suck anyway as opposed to battlefield 2.....

I wish Bungie would take the halo engine, throw some pirate models in there, and leak a "test video" -- now that would be funny.

Or do their video tour of the Bungie studios and plant all sorts of clues like hook-hands, and eye patches, or maybe a life-sized Davie Jones costume. Better yet, get Frankie and Shishka to do a mock mocap sword fight in the BG. "Oh yeah, we're working hard on our next project...whatever it is!"

Wow nightshadow, if battlefield's maps are so much better, then how come battlefield isn't as succesful as Halo? Halo is by far the best shooter ever made. Halo set the bar for all shooters to follow. Anyways, it is a joke. Two years ago they posted this "game" on April fool's day. They had a joke headset and a controller designed off of the one from that $200 mech game. Sorry, forget the name.

yeah, and that pimps at sea joke was there again this year for april fools, if you remember. but listening to the description of the fake game made me actually want it. i knew it was a joke, but it sounded like a game that i would actually want to play. granted, it would piss off every dire halo fan, and it will never happen, but i would actually buy it. they described it pretty hillariously.

Battlefield 2 is much better in Multiplayer, Halo is not bad in mp, way better than the singleplayer ! But BF2 has much more depth it's not just shoot & run without using the brain.

l?bf2 is out a few months and sold over 2 million copies... and how long is halo released ? I bet with you way longer. ;)



on the singleplayer side there is obviously Half Life 1 AND 2, both much better than the halo-games.
