If you've been frustrated by the PSP's closed platform, then you were probably looking forward to the launch of this
promising "open-source" handheld. Remember, this is
Gamepark Holdings' GP2X and not the other descendant of the GP32,
Gamepark's XGP. If you were unsure about ponying up $190
until you saw some nice high-res pictures of it being unpacked, then have we got news for you!
Data Realms has the goods, and first impressions. The good: SD slot, nice shoulder buttons, TV-Out, free screen
protector; the bad: not rechargeable, uses plenty o' AA's, and "laughably basic koeaenglish manual."
