Some hard-working members of the hacking community have whipped up a detailed guide on the proper way to fiddle with your PSP's remote port. A quick read of the minutiae reveals mostly debugging and reflashing options for the hack, right along with the possibility of running Linux on the console.
As with all other situations involving electricity, wiring, and inserting things where they don't belong, projects like this require the supervision of either a parent, guardian, or adult who has the good sense to convince you that things like this should only be done by professionals.
We're not going to pretend we know half the stuff they discuss in this how-to, but anything that lets us mess with out PSPs in heretofore unimaginable ways is a big plus in our blog.
