Following the excruciating, metaphorical kick in the pants that was the delay of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to
March 2006, rumors have been flying around regarding the true status of the project. A common suggestion amongst gamers
was that Nintendo's 100-hour tale of equine adventure and
pointy ears would shift from being the Gamecube's swan song to the Revolution's opening number. Sadly, those hoping to
defeat Ganon by flailing their arms wildly will have to wait just a bit longer. An official Nintendo spokesman (the best kind of Nintendo spokesman) has officially labeled those particular rumors as "nonsense" and insists that the game will remain a Gamecube exclusive...well, unless you consider the Revolution's vaunted backwards compatibility. Another rumor seems to indicate that Twilight Princess will come bundled with the Revolution, but only as a showpiece for the system's backwards compatibility. Sounds like a cool idea to us - what do you think?
