Would you like ice with that Xbox 360?
Some gaudy Xbox 360 owner has gotten the unit laced with a lil'
custom Crystal Icing. The company is featuring the Swarovski Crystal-based faceplate, known as
"Fusion Flame," in their online gallery. Talk about pimpin' an
Xbox 360 faceplate!
More coverage on Xbox 360 Fanboy.

... It'd be nice for a girl gamer, but I definitely don't think I'd want one being a boy and all. It just seems kinda tacky and girlish to be sitting in a living room.

I'd buy that faceplate without the crystal. That flame design is pretty sick.

Oh for the love of God. It's 1997 all over again with the craptastic Nokia faceplates.
Why can't Microsoft come up with a single original idea?! Is it an American thing? Or is it just that Microsoft is infested with super-lame people? I mean, Apple is an American company and they're not nearly as vanilla.
OK, I feel better now that I've gotten that off my chest.

There's nothing new under the sun. Few companies are coming up with anything "new" and original. It's all about execution.
Funkonaut: The Game Boy Micro also uses faceplates, so replace "Microsoft" in your rant with "Nintendo" and the same applies.
Furthermore, what's so original about Apple? What they do well is execute on ideas that others think of first:
The Ipod is simply a better Walkman. Apple's iPod wasn't the first portable music player. It wasn't even the first portable MP3 player. What gives, eh?

Is the ice supposed to be a subtle dig at the 360's overheating problems?
Cosmic Game @ Dec 18th 2005 10:01PM
Actually, microsoft stole their original system from Apple. So, if we were going to talk about using other people's ideas we should look first to Microsft.
Not that I really care, the 360 is a great product, it's just good to get your facts straight. Don't beleive that Apple made the first computer? Whatch 'Pirates of Silicon Valley'.

Ouch. Doubt the ladies would want to mistakenly stick that up their ass...
Sorry. It just really looks like a maxi pad

vc. The reason (in my opinion) that the iPod is so popular is that it is simple. Alot of MP3 players I see have too many buttons everywhere and look ugly as hell.
Also, I think the fact that there are very, very few issues with ANY iPod has gotten alot of people's attention.

To bad its vertical anyone who buys this isn't going to know that it'll scrath their disks.

Lamest thing I've ever seen. For skins worth your time you gotta go with www.facetags.com!

#8 Thats funny, because my 360 is vertical and it doesn't scratch my discs.
