We knew Nintendogs was popular in Europe, but not this popular. Last week, Nintendo announced that over a million copies of Nintendogs had been sold across the continent. Whether it's the viral nature of the pixellated puppies, or the fact the price point is perfect for Christmas, it looks like anxious dog-owners in the UK are going to have trouble getting their hands on the game before Christmas.
The Nintendo DS with Nintendogs bundle is a hot property this season, as Stuff magazine found, with
most retailers reporting little to no stock remaining. eBayers are already hastily flogging their wares online to make
a quick profit, although if you're looking for a copy of the game, importing might be cheaper. A quick scan of game
retailers showed several with PSPs in stock, though, so it may be a Sony-filled Christmas for some.
