This is absolutely rediculous. The 360 Power supply heating problem is not so rediculous as this article makes it seem. If your foolish and place your power supply on carpet behind your entertainment center where all of your other products are spewing out their heat, you will have problems. Simply leave it somewhere where normal room temperature air will get to it. I have had 0 problems with mine as well as many others.

Don't beleive the hype.

Any you retards that think it's okay to move your console around while your CD is spinning deserve every last freakin scratch you cd gets. Don't blame your own stupidity on the 360's industrial design.

Ok, I hope everyone realizes that the grooves on the top and two long sides don't do jack. It's the side with the light on it, and the opposite side that intake and expell air. Trying to cool the side is like putting ice in the trunk of your car. It won't do anything. If you really wanted to increase air intake, mind you, have one fan sucking the hot air out, and have one blowing it into the core (ON the respective sides)

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree, I had my power supply on my heater side of my tv and it froze once. Moved it and not one problem since...

I'm seriously wondering if this is an American power issue because no one I know of in the UK is complaining about the hear of the PSU. The console itself does get warm, or rather the exhaust of air is 'warm', but no where near as bad as what I'm reading from people in the states.

Had my console on for nearly 24hours now and it's just 'warm'!

I've been playing mine since launch (11/22) with no problems. And this is with a 14 hour stretch the first day, 3 hours per weekday and around 5-10 hours on the weekend days (combination games, movies and music). There is a reason the power cable is so long...
