CNET used a power meter to test the real-time power consumption of the Xbox 360. Judging by the size of the power supply and the heat it produces, we already knew this thing was hungry. Turns out it uses more electricity than any other item they tested, with the exception of big screen high-def televisions. When compared to the Xbox's 74 watts, and the PS2's 50 watts, the 360's power demands are incredible. CNET also did the math, and tell us if playing four hours a day, the unit will use $10 to $35 dollars worth of electricity annually. You probably spent more on coffee while camping out to get the thing.
