So, Sega needs to promote their latest platforming hero, Shadow
the Hedgehog - what better way than by throwing him in a wrestling match? Flanked by Takashi Iizuka of Sega Studio USA
and Sonic father Yuji Naka, Shadow the Hedgehog made an exuberant appearance at a wrestling match featuring Japanese
league Pancrase.
Japanese blog Game Watch
(
translation) has pictures of Shadow climbing on the ropes and shaking hands with the night's winner, and reports
that Shadow even became the announcer during the 6th round. Maybe Shadow can make an appearance in one of Sega's many
imminent games based on the 2008 Summer Olympics in
Beijing - wrestling against some of the adorable Olympic
mascots, perchance?

Please, for the love of God, exclude all characters other than Sonic from the next Sonic game.
At least don't make them playable.
And if you HAVE to, make them bonus characters.

That game redefined the word "disappointment". The soundtrack, however, was just awesome.
